Bonelli, rearmament does not defend

"What is happening in the world should open the eyes of those who still have doubts: weapons call for other weapons, conflicts are multiplying and the arms race is dragging the planet towards a spiral of no return. It is our ethical and political duty to stop this drift, because every euro spent on weapons is taken away from public health, education, social assistance, the fight against poverty. We must invest in peace, not in war". This is what Angelo Bonelli, deputy of Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra, said.

Scotto, Von der Leyen's rearmament plan is wrong

"Ursula Von der Leyen's rearmament plan is wrong. It is not a plan for common European defense, which is a goal we all strive for. It is Germany's rearmament plan, Draghi said it, it's not me who says it." These are the words of Arturo Scotto, MP of the Partito Democratico.

Conte, progressive forces cannot resign themselves to choices that lead to greater military escalation
